All Altima trims have a powerful and efficient 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine with 16 valves that produces 182 horsepower and 178 lb-ft of torque. The Altima saves at the pump with fuel consumption of just 6.5/9.1 litres per 100 kilometres (highway/city), which is environmentally friendly. The drive-by-wire electronic throttle increases responsiveness, acceleration, and efficiency.

Shifting is eliminated with the Xtronic Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT), so you won’t feel the effects of changing gears. This component has also been perfected to offer a sporty drive. All trims featuring the Nissan Intelligent All-Wheel Drive system improves handling and traction in Canada’s weather conditions and various roads.
